Site Engineer- Furniture Factory :


• Diploma in Civil or Interior Designing or Equivalent
• 3- 4 six years experience in a joinery/ fit-out company or similar industry preferably with Gulf experience.
• GCC driving license is Mandatory
• Should be able to prepare project schedules
• To properly allocate the required man power based on various project s.
• Should be able to read and understand the Autocad drawings
• Should be able to check and take site measurements for fabrication.
• Should be able to send daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
• To be responsible for timely execution of projects with the desired quality level.
• Salary BD 300 to 450 commensurate with the Qualification and Experience

Factory Manager / In-Charge for Furniture Factory :

Duties and Responsibilities :


• To manage all production activities involved in a Large/Medium Fit-out Projects and Joinery Contracts from inception to delivery
• To manage and control carpentry, Polishing and upholstery sections in the factory
• To ensure every aspect of the project is checked and delivered as per the client expectation and deadline
• To plan production schedules on a monthly, weekly and daily basis, and to ensure timely completion
• To organize production flow effectively and efficiently
• To adhere strictly with the estimated material and labor costs for every project
• To emphasize on completion of project within the estimated budget
• To ensure all production equipments are maintained in good operating condition
• To maximize company’s use of assets towards project completion, by ensuring quality of production
• To review and co-ordinate all shop drawings, generate cutting lists and implement quality control procedures in the production process
• To Liaise with Design, Procurement and project coordinators for smooth execution and on time completion of projects
• To plan, control and implement cost effective procedures
• To train carpenters, Polishers, Helpers on work culture, Factory House-Keeping, procedures and tasks
• To evaluate, counsel and monitor constantly on factory staff’s performance for improving the productivity
• To conduct technical training programs for new employees in coordination with the In-house HR Training Team
• To ensure all project records/Drawings are maintained and implemented at all times
• To attend client’s meetings as and when needed
• Time to Time implementation of new methods & techniques in order to maximize the productivity and quality
• To oversee the factory operations, by strictly complying with the regulations of industrial safety, hygiene of workers, safe operating procedure of machines, tools and equipments


Skill Sets :


• Professionally qualified, with minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience of working in a large/Medium sized fit out and joinery factory
• Should have excellent leadership qualities to guide the Production Team to achieve the maximum productivity and the target
• Should possess expertise knowledge in Autocad drawings
• Should be able to prepare, monitor and control production/Project schedules
• Should be familiar with ERP system of Production module to keep track on the project material and labor hour
• Should have a thorough knowledge on modern wood working machines, cutting Tools etc
• Should have a thorough knowledge on selection of right wooden materials, Furniture Fittings hardware etc


Education :


Diploma / Graduate in Civil / Architecture or Trade Background


Salary :


BD 900- BD 1000 Commensurate with the Qualification and Experience. A Small variation in Salary could be considered for Appropriate candidate.

Technician (Marine Division) :


• National Diploma in Marine/Mech/Automobile and 2-3 years experience in similar role
• Basic knowledge of health and safety
• Basic knowledge of vehicle diagnosis
• Knowledge of proper use of tools and equipment including special tools
• Read and write English
• Knowledge of basic products (vehicles and services)
• Knowledge of mechanism of Marine Engine & Gear Box


Desirable :


Higher National Diploma in Marine/Mech/Automobile with 1-2 years experience

Senior Project Manager - MEP :


Senior Project Manager (MEP) position shall br fully responsible to successfully manage, execute, and complete and handover multiple MEP projects for the company. The term MEP includes HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting & Electrical Systems.


Key Responsibilities :


• Candidate must possess strong Leadership and Communication Skills. Proven track record of completing projects life cycle. Project Manager shall be responsible for all day-to-day activities
• The Key responsibility includes commitment to ensure timely completion of project within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety
• To be overall responsible for overseeing and effective execution of all project related activities under the instructions of the company management. Ensuring that the quality of material and installation of works are in accordance with the acceptance criteria, specifications, approved materials and methods of installation approved for the project
• Lead and control project execution and design staffs, Subcontractors and Vendors for compliance of deliverables to the Project Schedule. Provides guidance, managerial, technical support to complete project team
• Attend regular meetings (on work progress, coordination, design, etc.) with Main Contractor, Consultant and Client to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions
• Monitoring project budgets and schedule and oversee performance to ensure on time, quality and on budget project execution. Prepare periodic reports for management including status of budgets, variance/change claims, schedules, disputes, up-coming activities, look ahead & safety records
• Ensure that all technical submittals/execution activities of the projects, strictly complies with and in conformity with Conditions of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ.
• Follow up with various departments within the company for all projects related matters for efficient execution of the Project
• Implement and control health and safety at site to comply with authority’s regulations and site requirement
• Analyze drawings, specifications and statements of work in the preparation of activity networks for project resource planning and scheduling
• To give all notices, etc to the Client/Engineer/Main Contractor under the instructions of the company management
• To receive all project related instructions from the Client, Engineer, Main Contractor, etc and transmit, communicate and arrange effective action in co-ordination with the own management. To arrange timely obtaining of all clearances, approvals, permissions, etc as may require from time to time from any of the statutory authorities during the execution of the Project
• Should possess good written skills to facilitate writing of contractual letters to client/main contractor
• Prepare and control program master schedule and performs critical path analysis. Prepare plans and schedules, status reports and performance evaluation. Provide program planning capabilities including interfaces and risks analysis. Develop Action and Recovery plans to support program delivery on time
• Establish and monitor program and project controls KPI’s. Ensure program policies and procedures are implemented accordingly
• Financial Management. Manage all requisitions and payments including lien releases and project payroll and maintains best possible cash flow throughout the project, communicating issues proactively
• Project Closeout. Deliver all necessary manuals to the Owner, consolidates project documentation and files. Manage subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, and punch list process. Deliver all warranties, as-builts and training to the owner
• Conduct staff evaluation twice a year (i.e. every 6 month) and forward to General Manager with corrective actions. Mentor and train staff
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by General Manager


Education :


Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Electrical Engineering


Experience :


More than 15 years of experience in Project Execution with 5years in Gulf. Should have worked as Project Manager for one Project Cycle.
