Senior Project Manager (MEP) position shall br fully responsible to successfully manage, execute, and complete and handover multiple MEP projects for the company. The term MEP includes HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting & Electrical Systems.
• Candidate must possess strong Leadership and Communication Skills. Proven track record of completing projects life cycle. Project Manager shall be responsible for all day-to-day activities
• The Key responsibility includes commitment to ensure timely completion of project within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety
• To be overall responsible for overseeing and effective execution of all project related activities under the instructions of the company management. Ensuring that the quality of material and installation of works are in accordance with the acceptance criteria, specifications, approved materials and methods of installation approved for the project
• Lead and control project execution and design staffs, Subcontractors and Vendors for compliance of deliverables to the Project Schedule. Provides guidance, managerial, technical support to complete project team
• Attend regular meetings (on work progress, coordination, design, etc.) with Main Contractor, Consultant and Client to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions
• Monitoring project budgets and schedule and oversee performance to ensure on time, quality and on budget project execution. Prepare periodic reports for management including status of budgets, variance/change claims, schedules, disputes, up-coming activities, look ahead & safety records
• Ensure that all technical submittals/execution activities of the projects, strictly complies with and in conformity with Conditions of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ.
• Follow up with various departments within the company for all projects related matters for efficient execution of the Project
• Implement and control health and safety at site to comply with authority’s regulations and site requirement
• Analyze drawings, specifications and statements of work in the preparation of activity networks for project resource planning and scheduling
• To give all notices, etc to the Client/Engineer/Main Contractor under the instructions of the company management
• To receive all project related instructions from the Client, Engineer, Main Contractor, etc and transmit, communicate and arrange effective action in co-ordination with the own management. To arrange timely obtaining of all clearances, approvals, permissions, etc as may require from time to time from any of the statutory authorities during the execution of the Project
• Should possess good written skills to facilitate writing of contractual letters to client/main contractor
• Prepare and control program master schedule and performs critical path analysis. Prepare plans and schedules, status reports and performance evaluation. Provide program planning capabilities including interfaces and risks analysis. Develop Action and Recovery plans to support program delivery on time
• Establish and monitor program and project controls KPI’s. Ensure program policies and procedures are implemented accordingly
• Financial Management. Manage all requisitions and payments including lien releases and project payroll and maintains best possible cash flow throughout the project, communicating issues proactively
• Project Closeout. Deliver all necessary manuals to the Owner, consolidates project documentation and files. Manage subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, and punch list process. Deliver all warranties, as-builts and training to the owner
• Conduct staff evaluation twice a year (i.e. every 6 month) and forward to General Manager with corrective actions. Mentor and train staff
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by General Manager
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Electrical Engineering
More than 15 years of experience in Project Execution with 5years in Gulf. Should have worked as Project Manager for one Project Cycle.
